FAQ's Related Pilates & Physiotherapy

At The Movement Studio, we specialize in clinical Pilates and physiotherapy. Our approach blends movement and rehabilitation to help you build strength, improve posture, and recover from injury in a supportive environment.

Clinical Pilates is a personalized, physiotherapist-led form of Pilates that focuses on functional movement, core stability, and injury prevention or recovery. It’s ideal for people with specific physical concerns or anyone seeking mindful, guided exercise.

No referral is required. You can book a physiotherapy session directly through our website or by calling our studio. If you’re seeing us for a specific condition or post-operative rehab, we’re happy to work in collaboration with your doctor or specialist.

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothes that allow you to move freely—like activewear. Pilates sessions are done barefoot or in grip socks (available at the studio). For physiotherapy, wear something that allows access to the area being assessed or treated.

If you’re dealing with pain, injury, or mobility issues, physiotherapy is a great starting point. If your goal is to build strength, improve posture, or support ongoing rehab through movement, clinical Pilates may be ideal. Not sure? We can help you decide in your initial assessment.

Your first session includes a comprehensive assessment, where we’ll discuss your history, goals, and any current pain or limitations. We’ll then begin hands-on treatment and provide guidance for next steps—including exercises, lifestyle adjustments, or clinical Pilates if appropriate.
